Barcelo Bavaro Palace
The all-inclusive Barceló Bavaro Palace offers the most luxurious experience within the expansive Barceló Bavaro resort complex. Situated on a nearly 2 mile stretch of Bavaro Beach, it is named one of the top 10 beaches in the world.
This 1,402 room mega resort features three distinct, upscale hotel wings consisting of deluxe junior suites located right on the beach, deluxe family rooms tucked back in its own private area, and a section of high end suites - Club Premium, Panoramic, Master, and Presidential - also located right on the beach. The resort also features a Club House, home to restaurants, a shopping center, sports bar, spa, casino, theatre and much more, designed in a Las Vegas- style promenade with a Caribbean flair.

What type of currency do they use?
The currency used in the Dominican Republic is the Dominican Peso but, the US Dollar is accepted at your resort. Tipping is included in your package but, if you felt your service was top notch, consider leaving a small tip!
Is the Barcelo Bavaro Palace all-inclusive? What does all-inclusive mean?
Yes, the Barcelo Bavaro Palace is all-inclusive. All Inclusive means all meals, drinks, lodging, entertainment, pool access and non-motorized activities are included in your trip cost. Please note there are a few items not under the all-inclusive plan such as: some dining venues, motorized watersports, golf, bowling and the spa.

What airport will we be flying into, how long is the flight and how far is the airport from the hote
The closest airport is Punta Cana International Airport. The code for the airport is PUJ. A direct flight from Minneapolis to Punta Cana is roughly 5 hours. The hotel is about a 25 minute drive from the airport.
