Seat assignment: Airlines offer reserved seat selection on most flights prior to departure. Boarding pass issuance is restricted to the day of flight. Whenever airlines permit, JET Travel secures seat assignments in advance based on the best available seats at the time of request.
In most cases, seat assignments are firm. However, airlines often reassign seats for operational reasons. This often happens at the last moment, is controlled by airline staff, JET Travel is not notified. Passengers are encouraged to reconfirm their seat assignments and any other special requests directly with their airline prior to departure from the US.
Baggage: Up-to-date information on carrier specific standard checked baggage allowance (including size and weight limitations), the standard allowance (and fee, if applicable) for carry-on baggage, and the standard fee for the first and second checked bag, along with information that additional discounts may apply depending on flyer-specific factors (e.g. frequent flyer status, military, credit card used for purchase or early purchase over the internet, etc) can be found by accessing www.iflybags.com or by contacting the airline directly. Please note some flight itineraries with multiple airlines, may charge multiple fees. Jet Travel and Tours has no control over these prices or changes.
Resort Fees: Please note that many resorts throughout the world reserve the right to charge daily resort fees. Fees are subject to change. While the staff at JET Travel does its best to inform clients of all fees. However, resort fee structures often change without notice. JET Travel has no control over these prices or changes.
Cruise Passengers: Passengers are responsible for providing proper documentation for cruise ship boarding. JET Travel and Tours Inc recommends a passport on all cruises. While the U.S. Government may not require a Passport for Sea travel on certain “closed loop cruises” originating in the U.S. and for travel only within the Western Hemisphere, other specified documentation is required. For specific U.S. governmental Passport and Visa regulations visit: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html. In order to expedite cruise embarkation JET strongly recommends passengers check in online prior to their sail date. For additional pre cruise information please visit the following website: www.cruising.org/vacation/frequently-asked-questions
Frequent Flyers: Passengers are responsible to contact their airline directly regarding mileage eligibility and accrual. Airline frequent flier programs determine whether to award miles in part or total based on their own rules which are updated frequently. Some discounted or promotional airfares are not eligible for mileage accrual. JET Travel will record frequent flier numbers when provided by the passenger prior to travel documents being issued. However, the addition of frequent flier numbers to airline records does not guarantee mileage eligibility which is at the sole discretion of each airline.
Currency Exchange fees: JET Travel reserves the right to charge currency exchange fees and service fees if and when providing payment to a travel supplier based outside the United States. Fees will assessed at the time of payment. Currency exchange fees are subject to change and all payments are processed by the travel supplier.
Documents: Your final documents will be sent two to three weeks prior to travel departure. Typically documents will be sent electronically. Shipping fees will apply to paper documents. (Standard shipping $20. Express shipping $30.)

An international trip may require valid travel documents such as passport, visa, re-entry permit, health certificate, inoculation record, a ticket for the return journey or continuance of your trip, or ANY combination thereof. Passengers are responsible for the proper documentation. Concerns about the required travel documents may be resolved by contacting the appropriate consulate or embassy.
